LMRC Internship Programme

The LMRC’s Internship is a unique programme that seeks talented and motivated young people who are committed, hardworking, positive, open-minded, reflective and willing to learn with the ability to contribute to the mandate of the organisation.  

The programme builds capacity of upcoming scholars by offering hands-on practical work experience in the areas of Democracy, Good Governance, Human Rights, Peace and Security. It also exposes interns to the Great Lakes Region and beyond.

It attracts interns with a minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, International Relations, Peace, Security and Conflict Resolution Studies. Additionally, Interns must have working knowledge of at least one of the working languages of the organization (French and English).

The duration for the internship programme is 6 months to one year and it is on a voluntary basis.
